A fun Halloween game. These cards can be used in a number of different games: Charades - a word guessing game. The learner picks a card and acts out each syllable of the word while the rest of the learners guess the word Match the pair game. Print out two copies of the cards. Cut out and turn them over and match the pictures / words. Prints double sided. A4 PDF document

When the Teacher says “Go,” the learners fill in the blanks with words that begin with the same letter. When they have finished they will shout “Happy Halloween!”

Directions: Ask your partner to finish each word / phrase on their own game-sheet. Predict what you think they will write and if your answers are the same, then you score points!

A fun Halloween clue. Hide the 10 clues around classroom and get the pupils to find them. They then have to work out the clues to escape the room. You are trapped inside a spooky haunted house and your only way out is to solve a coded message. Solve it or you will be trapped inside forever! ** Instructions** • There are ten clues hidden around the room. • You need to locate all TEN clues and then you will need to solve them in order • Eight of the clues will reveal different letters of the alphabet. there are grey boxes on the clue sheet for you to write these down, as well as space on your answer sheet. When you have noted down all of the letters, you will then unscramble the letters to reveal a Halloween related phrase. • The two remaining clues will reveal two separate numbers. You will multiply these numbers to reveal a 3-digit number. This will be the last part of the code. • Once you have ‘cracked’ both codes, you will then be able to escape from the haunted house!

A fun game! Get your learners to create their own football themed word search. Instructions: The learner will think of 12 words that are associated with football. They will write these words in the grid boxes and on the lines below the grid. Following this, the learner will then fill the remaining grid boxes with random letters of the alphabet. Get your learners to swap their completed word search with a peer, who will then complete it.
